1. Campfire Audio Andromeda (2019 version) - £1049

Campfire Audio Andromeda 2019 Campfire Audio Andromeda 2019

The Andromeda sports a five BA design, with two for the lows, one for the mids and two for the highs which benefit from the TAEC treatment. The result is an earphone that has become very well known in the industry recently, with lows feeling fleshy and palpable, mids smooth and natural, and treble strikes a good balance between being revealing and laid back.

5. Optoma NuForce BE Sport4 - £73.99

nuforce-be-sport4 Nuforce BE Sport4

Optoma has enjoyed tremendous success recently with its BE Sport3 model; it's an earphone which has a remarkably solid build quality and reliability, however Optoma has gone one better with additional sweat and water resistance rated at IPX5 - this means that aside from general moisture resistance, we can have a musical duel with water pistols and suffer no lasting consequences.

We have awaited the SoundMAGIC E11C with some anticipation; with various models already available, what can the E11C bring to the table? We have found the E11C to be a grown-up earphone with a keen knack for giving a clear and accurate presentation across the board.  A truly impressive earphone for the price and in our opinion the new budget king.

Hi I live a relatively short journey from you (Dorking) so happy to visit you to listen
I am after some wireless earbuds for my iPhone, as mp3 i appreciate its not worth burning the bank, but want something sensible to enjoy the sound
To give context My home set up is Naim based 135 mono powers, Naim amp with the the 500 cd player i use sennheiser 600 for when I have to not play through Dynaudio speakers, so quite keen for a sensible balance between cost and sound
What would you recommend? I was thinking of the momentum, but would i appreciate the difference?
    Your help would be appreciated

Hi Gary. It would definitely be worth a visit to come here and listen to a few models. The Momentum is very good - I'd also consider the Lypertek TEVI. They are £99 and challenge the Momentum in terms of sound quality, build and battery life. Give us a call and book in a demo when it suits you :)
