High quality
by Nuno on 16/10/2018
Build quality and packaging is excellent.
Was expecting an aluminum travel case and it has come with a leather one, also excellent.
Cable is amazing, soft, but can tangle a bit.
Headphones are light and fit perfectly, I found that deep insertion is not the best way to seal.
Sound is fun with enough bass and clear mids, separation is the biggest upgrade for me.
Very happy until now with the purchase.
Sonic bliss

For clarity, detail, dynamic range, deep and beautiful bass, for comfort and fit, and for just about any other quality you might be looking for in an IEM, these are the best I've ever had. Far, far better than Shure's (for me, vastly over-rated) SE535. Better even than Dunu's DN2000 (but only just). Sound-wise, these are flawless.
My only quibble is that the 3.5mm jack is not right-angled (as advertised and pictured here and just about everywhere else). Earlier models did have an angled jack, apparently, but now the New Primacy comes with a straight jack. (Given the choice, would anyone pick a straight jack over a right-angled jack??) If I'd known these come with a straight jack, I'd have gone for something else - and would've missed out on a superb pair of earphones! If you're not bothered about the jack, or if you can afford to shell out for another cable, then don't hesitate, buy these.
My best IEMs yet
by SimmoMaz on 27/03/2018
I have been on a slow and steady journey with my in-ear and IEM heasdphones upping the ante at each stage;
Etymotic Research

These Oriveti pee all over the others and are an absolute joy to hold (really solid design) and to listen to. The sound is clear and top, mid and low ranges all sound good without one dominating the others.

They fit into my ears better than any of the others have and stay snug, something that has always troubled me with other IEMs.

Another bonus is the detachable cable, something the Shure's had but the Audiofly didn't (the more expensive ones came with this option)

The packaging also looks the part, these guys have paid real care and attention to detail on all elements of this product and I can't recommend them enough.
I love them
by Clément on 12/01/2018
I’m not an expert, these are the first over 150 € I get. There is a huge difference with my others under 150 €. For exemple I got the Oriveti Basic, they are very good for the price, but the New Primacy are so much better : don’t hesitate to spend more money !

I use them with my iPhone dongle, and have compare with the headphone output of my denon pma-50. There isn’t a huge difference, so the iPhone dongle is ok for me.

I was looking for good item for running, I have tried a lot (Bluetooth or not, jaybird, Bose, westone adv alpha...), and these new primacy are the best from far. No problem at all for running with.

Conclusion : I recommand at 100%
High quality IEMs

I've owned quite a few higher end in-ears and I think Oriveti have something special on their hands here. The sound is superb, as other reviews have mentioned these are fun, but plenty of detail too. Comfort is also worth mentioning, as they fit perfectly.

A high quality IEM that will not disappoint.
Great Fun Sounding Earphones
by Nabeel on 15/06/2017
The journey to finding "the perfect" headphone is filled with lessons, hardships, heartaches, loss of income, joys, celebrations and special moments. Truth be told it's all subjective isn't it? Everyone hears sounds differently, and everyones ears are shaped differently. If you didn't cross that rubicon of upgrading the earphones that came with your smartphone, you probably wouldn't know any better what you're missing out on, and probably save a lot of money in the end.

I will caveat my review for any audiophile reading, I am far too much of an imbecile to understand concepts such as Frequency response, impedence, sensitivity and maximum output. Neither do I have the audiophile vernacular to use terms such dark, bright, sibilance et al. What I am though is a simple man that can recognise something good when he sees it, errr hears it.

Speaking of seeing. What you can immediately notice with the New Primacy's, is that the IEMs and associated packaging do look impressively well built. I received them in the office post, and my workmates (who aren't in any way inclined towards audio) chirped: "They look fancy!". So well done Oriveti on building something that looks top notch. And this is a reassurance, whilst there are definitely a lot more expensive IEMs out there then these. It is still a pretty big outlay for a lot of people. It is therefore somewhat of a comfort, that given the money you have spent, that they look the business.

In terms of hearing. These are fun! I bought these after using Etymotic ER4-XRs for a while. Whilst they Eytmotics were great for uncompromising accuracy, the microphonics drove me up the wall and music wasn't as fun to listen to.

I listen to a variety of different types of music (cliche, I know) from Jazz, Classical to Hip Hop and EDM. My previous IEMs were Sennheisser IE80s, RHA T20s, and as aforementioned the Etymotic ER4-XR. All had their own particular strengths. The IE80s scalability according to source was awesome, the RHA T20s had amazing bass, the Etymotic's ability to completely isolate you is unparalled. By all means none of them were bad earphones at all, however when you get deep into earphone game, your standards go up, and you want something more. These by far are the sounding earphones I've owned.

Are they perfect? No, they aren't without flaws. Isolation is good for most circumstances but not the greatest for public transport for example (or maybe the standard was set really high due to the Etymotics). You do get driver flex when inserting these. And the cable is prone to tangling.

Are these enough for me to not recommend them. Definitely not. They sound awesome, have great build quality, the cable is a thing of beauty, and you have a very comprehensive accessories pack (the case it comes with is Aluminium, I mean c'mon Aluminium!). Are these the end game? Probably not, as a IEM enthusiast, I will probably drop more money sometime in the future, but for now I am a very happy chappy.
